Q: What about using a packlite when plugged into the bass line out?

A: Hi,

You posted a question in the L1® Wiki.

"What about using a packlite when plugged into the bass line out? "

We're much better equipped to handle questions in the Bose Forum.

Please ask your question there. If you can put some more detail in your question that would help.

  1. Are you running with just half of the Cylindrical Radiator® AND running the PackLite at the same time?
  2. What model of L1® do you have?

Here is a link to the Bose L1® Forum.

Applicable to Model I and Model II

Is this half-stack really true for the Model I and Model II as it was for the Classic? Since there is only one amp for those, I thought I read in the "Ask Bose" Forum area that the half-stack will not work for the new models ... has anyone tried it? (I've only done it with the Classic.) -- Dan Cornett February 28 2011

The two most recent posts in Ask Bose for Help confirm that the L1 Model I will operate without the top half of the Cylindrical Radiator®
MikeZ-at-Bose confirms the applicability of Le5 (Mark)'s logic about the effect of removing the top half of the Cylindrical Radiator® with respect to impedance presented to the single ampiflier. See: - Height. Note - this is buried in quotes.
I have tested with my L1 Model II
