The Bose® L1™ Wiki

This is the new home of the Unofficial Guides for Users and Performers.

We will also have a collection of reference articles that may be of interest to L1™ owners.

This is a new way to work with the knowledge that we have been building on the Bose® Musicians Community Discussion Boards (the Forum). For more about why we chose a Wiki format - see Why A Wiki.

The most outstanding features of the wiki structure are:

  • Any registered user can add articles or edit articles that are here
  • Extremely good search and categorization capability

Getting Started

  • You can get a feel for what is here by clicking on the links in the menu at the left.
  • You can also try the search box (just type in a keyword that comes up in the forum and click Search)
  • An odd way to try things, is to successively hit the Random page link

On most pages you will see category links across the bottom. You can try those too.

Vision

When making and sharing music, the technology should be transparent. It should lighten the load. (I am still refining this)

Mission

To share our collective and growing knowledge of how to use the L1™ technology so that we all spend less time thinking about it, and more time using it. (this too)
