Behringer Eurorack PMP6000 Powered Mixer

Warning

The Behringer EUROPOWER PMP6000 is a powered mixer. DO NOT CONNECT the speaker outputs to your L1 Model 1S or L1 Model II. You could damage both the Behringer and the Bose units.

Summary

Simplest thing that could possibly work.

MONO Output

Use the ¼ inch phone jack (Tip-Sleeve) Mixer MONO output to the L1 Model 1S or L1 Model II Powerstand ¼ inch jack analog input.

Outputs

¼ Inch with suitable output

for Powerstand ¼ inch jack analog input.

You can use TS (Tip Sleeve) unbalanced cables, or TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve) balanced cables, but since the ¼ inch phone connections at the Bose Classic and Model I Power Stand are unbalanced there is no particular benefit using balanced cables.

¼ Inch Tip-Sleeve (unbalanced) to ¼ Inch Tip-Sleeve (unbalanced)

Tip-Sleeve to Tip-Sleeve

This should work fine.

¼ Inch Tip-Ring-Sleeve (balanced) to ¼ Inch Tip-Sleeve (unbalanced)

Tip-Ring-Sleeve to Tip-Sleeve

This should work fine.

¼ Inch Tip-Ring-Sleeve (balanced) to ¼ Inch Tip-Ring-Sleeve (balanced)

Tip-Ring-Sleeve to Tip-Ring-Sleeve

This should also work, but likely no better than a simple ¼ Inch Tip-Sleeve to Tip-Sleeve cable. This is because the ¼ Inch input on the Bose System is Tip-Sleeve (unbalanced) anyway.

More Notes

From the Behringer EUROPOWER PMP6000 manual (page 13)

You can use a ¼ inch jack Tip-Sleeve or ¼ inch jack Tip-Ring-Sleeve cable.

Audio connections
The inputs and outputs of your BEHRINGER EUROPOWER are unbalanced 1/4" mono jacks—except for the mono channel line inputs, which are balanced 1/4" stereo jacks. Of course, all inputs and outputs work with both balanced and unbalanced connectors. The tape in and outputs are on RCA connectors.
