7.0.11 May 15, 2019
- S1 Pro Shutdown when you disconnect AC Power
Previously, some S1 Pro Systems would shut down if the AC power was interrupted. On those units firmware 7.0.11 changes the way an interruption to the AC power affects the S1 Pro:
When an interruption in AC power is detected, the S1 Pro will go silent for four to seven seconds. The audio will resume without intervention from you. During the silence, you may notice the channel one LED turn amber. This is normal. - Minor updates for compatibility with the Bose Connect app version 8.1.1
7.0.10 May 2018
- Support for Bose Connect App
Make sure you have the latest firmware so your S1 Pro will work with the Bose Connect App.
Visit Bose system update center (Windows and macOS only)
NOTE: Please ensure that your S1 Pro System is fully charged and connected to AC power when you do the firmware update.
Enjoy!

Firmware Update Tips when using Bose Connect
For best results, please follow these steps to ensure your S1 Pro System stays connected to the phone or tablet running the Bose Connect app.
- Charge your S1 Pro System to 100% before you install updates, and connect it to AC Power
- Turn on the S1 Pro System and place it beside your phone or tablet.
- Use the Bose Connect app Settings to set auto off to NEVER. You can put it back to your preferred setting after the update.
- Keep the Bose Connect app in the foreground on your phone or tablet. It's okay if it's running in the background but if you close it or force-quit this update will have to start over when you start the app again.
- Keep your S1 Pro System beside the phone or tablet during the update. This can take up to an hour in total. We're doing this to maintain a good connection. Otherwise, you could walk out of range or encounter interference that can break the connection and force the process to restart.
- Check back after an hour to see if the update has completed.
