Q Can I use the S1 Pro+ transmitters with the T8S?
A Yes

1/4 inch (6.3mm) Outputs

The 1/4-inch Instrument transmitters work when connected to the T8S 1/4-inch outputs.

XLR Outputs

The XLR mic/line transmitters won't fit directly into the T8S because a lip on the bottom edge of the back prevents them from seating correctly into the input connectors. However, if you use XLR cables between the transmitters and the T8S, everything works as expected. You would do this to elevate the transmitters to give you an unobstructed line-of-sight path from them to the S1 Pro+ systems.

For best results, set the S1 Pro+ systems to LINE input. Details below.

Set Up - for Each S1 Pro+

  1. Turn down the volume on the S1 Pro+ system
  2. On S1 Pro+, pair the XLR transmitter to one of the Input channels (1 or 2). For this discussion, we'll assume you have connected to channel 1. On S1 Pro+, on the input channel, set the Bass and Treble to 12:00 o'clock, and set ToneMatch to Off, and Reverb all the way down.
