What does Phaelates mean when talking about your system. Guitar Center has a few obscure references that use this term.

Several years ago California enacted a law prohibiting the use of phaelates, an ingredient in plastic packaging. Bose complied and created packaging without phaelates. It was a packaging change only - the product inside remained the same.
