S1 Pro+ Wireless Microphone with T4S
- Question
- How do I use the T4S or T8S to control a microphone (and other inputs) with the S1 Pro+ Wireless Microphone Transmitter
- Answer
- You'll need
- S1 Pro+
- S1 Pro+ XLR Wireless Transmitter
- Dynamic microphone (this won't work with a microphone that requires phantom power)
- T4S or T8S (This could also work with a T1)
- ToneMatch Power Supply
- 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) Tip Ring Sleeve to two 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) Tip-Sleeve "Insert" Cable
- Optional 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) Tip Ring Sleeve cable
- Watch this video.
- Instead of a guitar as your sound source as shown in the video, you'll use your microphone with the XLR wireless transmitter.
- Instead of a guitar pedal as shown in the video, you'll use your T4S to modify the sound of the microphone
- Use the cable shown in the video
- Connect the "Tip" connector to the T4S channel input you use for the microphone
- Connect the "Ring" connector to the T4S Right Output.
- Make sure all your T4S inputs are panned hard Right (or connect the Left output to the S1 Pro+ channel that you're not using for the wireless microphone using the optional 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) Tip Ring Sleeve cable mentioned above in point 1.7.)
- Use the Bose App to set the S1 Pro+ ToneMatch Preset to Full Range Flat Response (or turn the ToneMatch Preset off).
Optional: Use can repeat the steps above for the second S1 Pro+ Channel and Wireless Transmitter for a second microphone or an instrument (e.g. guitar).
